Outstanding issues are likely to be resolved by the end of Germany's EU presidency.
Details of a free trade between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and European Union (EU) are likely to be finalised by the end of this month, according to European foreign affairs officials.
Gulf News today quotes comments by officials to Al Riyadh Arabic newspaper, saying ‘the two sides are determined to finish all remaining points of the agreement as quickly as possible.’
Austrian foreign minister Ursula Plassnik she expected outstanding issues to be resolved before the end of June, which corresponds with the end of Germany’s presidency of the EU.
