Ensyab readies to set up in Bahrain

A newly created US$93million IT manufacturing firm has been given the go-ahead by Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce to set up factories in the Kingdom that will supply the Middle East market with computer hardware and software, according to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

Ensyab, an IT investment venture coordinated by a Saudi firm called Qeyyam Al-Arab, is expected to launch its products in the GCC and Arab markets by the second half of 2007 and will create around 100 jobs in Bahrain, Qeyyam Al-Arab general manager Sameer Al-Luqmani was reported as saying. Qeyyam Al-Arab has already signed contracts with companies in Japan and China to provide technology and advanced electronic gadgets to be used in Ensyab products.
