Saudi border guards claim they have foiled an attempt to smuggle 114,000 amphetamine pills into the kingdom on the back of a camel.
The smuggler and his camel were intercepted by customs officials in the Tabuk province, on the border with Jordan, Saudi Gazette reported.
The man, whose nationality was not revealed, has been arrested.
It follows the largest cocaine haul intercepted at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah on Sunday. About 1.7kgs of the drug was found hidden in capsules in the stomach of an expat passenger, Saudi Customs said.
