The real estate arm of Dubai-based building materials group Danube has broken ground on its first two property projects, Dreamz By Danube and Glitz By Danube.
Chairman Rizwan Sajan attended groundbreaking ceremonies on both sites. At the $136 million (AED500m) Dreamz by Danube site in Al Furjan, he was joined by design consultant Edmac Engineering consultancy and main contractor UNEC.
At the $81.7 million Glitz By Danube site – a cluster of buildings containing a total of 300 apartments at Dubai Studio City – he was joined by a representative from groundworks contractor Atlas Foundations.
Sajan said: “We are delighted to officially start construction on our first two realty ventures for the division. Both our projects are currently on track as per our initial plan.
“We will always strive to deliver unmatched value for our buyers. We expect the completion of our maiden project Dreamz by September 2016 and Glitz by July 2017, which fits exactly within the committed deadline.”
