Dubai Civil Defence battled an early morning blaze at a warehouse in the Ras Al Khor area of the city.
The emergency response officials received a call shortly before 8am this morning, with three stations responding to attend the blaze.
Confirming the details on its Twitter account, Dubai Civil Defence said that the fire was under control and that there were no major injuries.
Early morning traffic in the early was affected by the fire, which resulted in large plumes of black smoke rising to the air.
