Fans and organisers outside Qatar, with a Hayya Card, can enter the Gulf nation until January 24, 2024, the Ministry of Interior said.
However, there are a few requirements that need to be met:
- Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation with family or friends, approved via the online Hayya Portal
- A valid passport for no less than three months upon arrival in Qatar
- A valid health insurance for the duration of the stay in the country
- A return ticket
Hayya cardholders visiting Qatar during this time will have access to:
- The ‘Hayya with Me’ feature which allows cardholders to invite up to three family members or friends
- Multiple-entry permit
- Use of the e-Gate system for entry and exit
- No fees are required
These conditions are applicable to holders of all Hayya Card types used during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
