Saudi Arabia reveals first Red Sea luxury hotels to open in 2023

RSG is set to welcome visitors to the newly announced international hotel brands to open on the four islands

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global revealed three new international hotel brands that are set to welcome visitors for the first time when they open in 2023. The hotels announced include St. Regis Red Sea Resort, Nujuma Ritz Carlton Reserve and Six Senses Southern Dunes.

These three hotels will be the first to open at the mega-destination.

As confirmed by the developer, the hotels are among 16 announced hotels planned for the destination in 2023. By the year 2030, the destination expects to see 48 hotels.

The three hotels, St. Regis Red Sea Resort, Nujuma Ritz Carlton Reserve and Six Senses Southern Dunes will be the first to open doors to the public.

The 13 hotels announced to open this year are:

  • Fairmont Red Sea
  • InterContinental Resort Red Sea
  • Grand Hyatt The Red Sea
  • Raffles Red Sea
  • SLS Red Sea
  • Jumeirah Red Sea
  • Miraval Red Sea
  • Nujuma, Ritz-Carlton Reserve
  • Six Senses Southern Dunes
  • St. Regis Red Sea Resort
  • Rosewood Red Sea
  • Faena, The Red Sea
  • The Red Sea EDITION

Nujuma, Ritz-Carlton Reserve

On the Ummahat islands, the luxury hotel will have 82 keys including overwater and beach villas. Guests will be able to book stays at the property this year.

Six Senses Southern Dunes

The luxury hotel will feature 76 keys and have guest rooms with open-plan bedrooms, a living area, outdoor terrace. The property also has villa clusters with options of one bedroom to four bedrooms.

The spa features self-shaded water surfaces and deep cold pools as well as a sensory suite, outdoor treatment cabanas with a relaxation area, and a pool bar.

St. Regis Red Sea Resort

Situated on a private island, the resort is expected to feature 90 villas, two signature restaurants, an outdoor pool, fitness centre, and spa, in addition to a Children’s Club.
