A teenager has been stabbed to death in a Saudi school during a fight with a fellow student, according to the Saudi Gazette.
The 17-year-old high school student was reportedly stabbed with a sharp object, not believed to be a knife, by an 18-year-old student.
He was taken to King Abdulaziz Hospital in Riyadh, where he underwent seven operations over 12 hours but his condition deteriorated and he died shortly afterward, the daily said.
A Makkah Police spokesman said the suspect had been arrested and confessed to the manslaughter, admitting he had a number of disputes with the victim.
