Dubai Police arrests 'dangerous' Dutch leader of biker gang

Dubai Police said on Monday it has arrested the head of a dangerous criminal biker gang which operates in Europe and Africa in an operation with Dutch authorities and Interpol.

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-In-Chief at Dubai Police, said the 41-year-old leader of the Angels of Death had been held at a villa in the emirate after entering Dubai on a false passport.

The suspect, who was named as Radwan Tagi and described as the most dangerous criminal in the Netherlands, was the subject of an Interpol arrest warrant since 2018.

In a tweet, Al-Marri praised “the effective cooperation” between Dubai Police and the Dutch authorities.

Local media quoted Al Marri as adding: “He is the most dangerous criminal in Netherland for his crimes like murders and trading with drugs. He was the leader of an organisation called Angels of Death which is one of the serious criminal orgaization in Netherland.”

It was reported that that Dutch police had offered a 100,000 euro reward for anyone to provide information that can help to arrest Tagi.
