The Abu Dhabi General Services Company, also known as Musanada, has announced the completion of construction works on the Mohamed bin Zayed School.
Construction costs of the all-boys school reached AED170 million ($46.2 million), Musanada said, adding that the project was undertaken as part of the Abu Dhabi Future Schools Programme.
State news agency WAM said the handover process to the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge has also begun.
The school building accommodates 2,550 students across 85 classrooms, WAM added.
Facilities include a library, science and computer labs, arts rooms, multipurpose hall, administration offices, sports hall, cafeteria, dining hall, prayer room for students and the administration staff, playgrounds and parking spaces.
