UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) announced 437 new Covid-19 cases and two more deaths.
The new cases bring the total number reported in the UAE to 47,797, while 313 people have now died as a result of Covid-19.
The ministry added that an additional 577 people recovered from the coronavirus after receiving the necessary treatment, taking the number of total recovered patients up to 36,411.
The latest Covid-19 cases were discovered following over 58,000 Covid-19 tests carried out across the country.
On Saturday, the UAE issued a strong warning to residents to heed social distancing rules and preventative measures in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.
