Ajman Police has alerted the public to be cautious of rumours as reports of police warnings against fines detected by installed cameras in Ajman have surfaced.
Brigadier General Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi, the director-general of police operations on behalf of the Ajman Police has said that these reports are false and urged the public not to spread the news unless it is from an official source.
Al Matroushi also stressed that the police release information to the public only through official channels.
He also added that necessary measures will be taken to hold those who spread these rumours accountable.
Penalties will also be imposed on anyone who further spreads rumours that affect public security.
