Cristiano Ronaldo legs immortalised in $100,000 Dubai display

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will bring this unusual display for visitors in Global Village

Following Ronaldo’s move to Saudi team, Al Nassr, the football icon’s legs are have made their way to Dubai. Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum in Global Village has Ronaldo’s ‘Money Legs’ on display for visitors.

The attraction at the museum is a replica of the Al Nassr player’s legs made of over $100,000 in shredded money. Ronaldo’s actual legs are reported to be insured for over $144 million.

The Ripley’s Believe It or Not ‘museum ‘odditorium’, returning for the fourth time in Global Village has over 300 unique exhibits including historical artefacts, art, a tribal jungle, human oddities, space gallery and more.

“Guests are in for even more weirdness this season, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium will feature a total 250+ exhibits and interactive activities with over 40 brand-new exhibits and activities. This is a one-of-a-kind family experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the Middle East and we are proud to host Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for the fourth year in a row,” said Naveen Jain, Business Development Director at Global Village.

Victor Danau, Director, Asia Pacific Operations & Development, Ripley Entertainment said “Tickets can be purchased separately for each experience or as packages online through the Global Village website or mobile app. They are also available at the entrance of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!. Guests can purchase individual experience tickets for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for AED40, Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze for AED35, and Ripley’s Moving Theater 4D experience for AED35, they can also snag a deal for two attractions for just AED55 or all three attractions for only AED75.”

“There will be over 50 new Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Exhibits, including a 14-foot-long killer crocodile, a matchstick model containing over one million matchsticks, and even the Cristiano Ronaldo ‘money legs’ display. The popular “Torture chamber” gallery now includes a brand new photo opportunity adding to the unbelievable exhibits of ancient prison punishment,” the website read.

Global Village is set to run until 23 April, 2023.

This week, Arabian Business reported Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are set to face off in an exhibition match in Riyadh and bidding on a VIP ticket has now passed $2.6 million.

The exclusive VIP ticket to watch Ronaldo and Messi go head to head is being offered by Turki Al-Sheikh, the head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority.
