Diners splash $167,000 at Salt Bae’s Nusr-Et in Abu Dhabi ahead of F1 Grand Prix

A picture of a bill with a hefty amount paid at a restaurant in Abu Dhabi was posted on Instagram last night

With several high-profile individuals, celebrities, teams and visitors in Abu Dhabi ahead of Formula 1 and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Nusr-Et, the restaurant that gained popularity for ‘Salt Bae’ posted a picture on their Instagram of a bill of AED615,065 from their branch in The Galleria, Abu Dhabi.

The bill was dated Thursday, November 17 with the timestamp 9:52 PM.

Nusr-Et was contacted for comment but was unable to reveal further details.

F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to begin on Friday, November 18 with the first concert having taken place on Thursday, November 17 featuring international artists, Dave and Usher.

Lewis Hamilton, the popular Mercedes AMG F1 racer posted a picture of the F1 racers after dinner at what seems to be a well-known Asian restaurant in Abu Dhabi, captioned “We’ve come a long way as drivers and continue to grow as men. Despite whatever may happen on the track we grow and become better each day. Us all coming together to celebrate life and Seb’s amazing career in F1 is truly a night I’ll never forget.”
