Banyan Tree Dubai has announced the appointment of its inaugural General Manager, Paul Stuart Sykes Riquelme.
Riquelme brings along a decade of industry experience and a track record of working alongside esteemed industry leaders, as well as his distinctive leadership style.
His vision for Banyan Tree Dubai is to establish a haven of tranquillity and relaxation in Dubai, providing guests with a unique fusion of traditional Middle Eastern hospitality, Asian influences, and modern luxury.
“I am thrilled to embark on this journey as the inaugural General Manager of Banyan Tree Dubai,” Paul said.
Moreover, Paul plans to incorporate distinctive elements into the resort’s recreational facilities, including the renowned Banyan Tree Spa, as well as various dining destinations.
In order to deliver personalised experiences to every guest, Paul will implement a flat organisational structure that prioritises teamwork and customer-focused services.
In addition, he will be hosting training sessions to familiarise the staff with the brand’s hospitality and Dubai’s cultural norms.
Paul will also introduce several guest-centric initiatives, such as a special programme aimed at creating customised itineraries based on individual guest data and preferences prior to their arrival, and more such initiatives.
