Dubai’s Museum of the Future opens its doors to the general public on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
The opening will take place in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, alongside senior government officials, WAM reported.
A uniquely shaped building and exhibition space, the 77-ft tall museum aims to tell the narrative of the future using interactive exhibitions.
“The Museum of the Future has been designed to help generate new solutions for the future challenges,” Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Museum of the Future, said.
“The Museum’s exhibitions will fuel the passion of present and future generations, and spark their intellectual curiosity for science, technology and the knowledge that will help humanity to thrive and prosper in the decades ahead.”
He added: “The Museum will create a global platform for pioneers, innovators and critical thinkers to exchange ideas, concepts and visions to accelerate sustainable socioeconomic development and shape a fair future that works for everyone.”

“Iron Man” shares tickets to Museum of the Future
On Monday, Richard Browning, the British inventor of a flying jet suit, who has previously been nicknamed a real life “Iron Man,” was seen giving away tickets to crowds to celebrate the opening of the Museum of the Future.
Browning holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest flight in a body-controlled jet suit, travelling at speeds of up to 85mph (135km/h).
The inventor performed aerial stunts in his suit, while handing out exclusive tickets.
