Microsoft’s ‘mixed-reality’ HoloLens 2 is now available in the UAE

Microsoft launches HoloLens 2, which extends the computing world beyond two-dimensional screens, through Redington as sole distributors in the UAE

Microsoft’s mixed reality headset is now available in the UAE.

HoloLens 2, Microsoft’s mixed reality headset that delivers a 177 percent return on investment over three years and reduces training costs by as much as 75 percent – as per a Forrester Total Economic Impact report – is now available in the UAE through sole distributor Redington.

Based on its application, the HoloLens 2 prices range from $3,500 for the standard version to $5,200 for the Trimble XR10 model on Microsoft’s website.

With leading technology companies like Meta and Google getting into the segment, Microsoft has the first-mover advantage.

Such technologies are currently being used in industries such as manufacturing, construction, healthcare, retail, and education to save costs, reduce energy consumption, improve learning and boost employee and customer satisfaction.
