Starting Tuesday, September 19, a significant portion of Maliha Road will undergo a month-long closure, affecting traffic heading towards the emirate.
The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has shared a closure map on X, formerly known as Twitter, indicating that the closure, specifically on the Sharjah-bound lane, will remain in effect from September 19 to October 18.
This temporary closure is necessary for essential maintenance work.
“Kindly use the alternative routes and follow the traffic and directional signs,” SRTA said.
Previously, roadworks had partially restricted the opposite side of Maliha Road, which leads in the direction of Dubai.
