A new route connecting Sharjah and Al Ain will begin operations on February 22, Wednesday.
The announcement was made by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA).
The move follows the emirate’s efforts to expand its internal bus network, and “enhance the integration of mass transit” in Sharjah.
The new route, titled Route 811, will operate from Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah and transit through Maleha area, Al Madam and Shuwaib before stopping at Al Ain Bus Station.
