The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) is set to discuss the draft amendment to the real estate registration law in the emirate at its meeting on Thursday.
The scheduled discussion by SCC followed it receiving the report from the legislative and legal affairs committee on the proposed amendments to the law.
The SCC also received appeals, suggestions and complaints regarding the proposed real estate registration law amendment.
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah real estate registration department, and Issa bin Handal, Director of the legal department to the Government of Sharjah are also expected to be present during the council discussion.
