Going Nowhere

This month two Saudi Arabian agents gave ATN’s mystery shopper some good advice about booking a holiday to Spain.

ATN: Where can you recommend in Spain?

Caravan Travel, Al-Khobar: We have a seven-night package to Malaga.

It will cost SAR 6700 (US $1733), including flights, four-star accommodation, breakfast and transfers.

This is with Qatar Airways, or KLM possibly.

There is a KLM flight on that day flying from Dammam via Amsterdam to Malaga.ATN: What’s in Malaga?

There are beaches and mountains.

We can also arrange day tours and it might be possible to add other cities; Madrid, Cordoba, or Barcelona for example. ATN: How can I get to get to Madrid?

Dammam Travel Agency: You can fly Qatar airways direct, or there is an early morning flight with KLM that costs SAR 3500 ($933). ATN: Can you recommend a good hotel?

I can have a look.

If you know the name of a hotel, I can give you a rate.

It is little bit expensive in Europe for hotels you know?

I will need to get back to you.
