Healthy food brand Kcal has opened its first restaurant in Kuwait, following eight successful branches across the UAE since its initial launch in 2010.
Located in Qibla in the center of Kuwait City, the new restaurant is built on a franchise model, and is the first F&B venture from Kuwait-based HAF United.
The menu features Kcal favorites such as Vietnamese spring rolls, supreme burgers and indulgent dark chocolate desserts.
Kcal’s head chef also developed a chicken machboos dish based on the Kuwaiti national plate, as well as baked kibbeh and mezzah.
The restaurant offers diverse breakfast, lunch and dinner menus for dine in, delivery and take away.
Mark Carroll, co-founder of Kcal World, said the company aims to make “healthy food extremely tasty without sacrificing on the quality and its benefits”.
Co-founder Andreas L. Borgmann said he hopes the branch will be “the first of many restaurants in Kuwait.”For all the latest gourmet news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
