Grand Stores displays SanDisk memory portfolio

UAE-based retailer and distributor Grand Stores is marking its seventh appearance at Gitex Shopper by promoting a wide range of storage and flash memory products from SanDisk, which it claims is the world’s largest flash memory supplier.

UAE-based retailer and distributor Grand Stores is marking its seventh appearance at Gitex Shopper by promoting a wide range of storage and flash memory products from SanDisk, which it claims is the world’s largest flash memory supplier.

“We want to create a greater awareness of SanDisk’s product portfolio and wish to strengthen its brand name in the UAE and the region as a whole”, says Gopal Sudhakaran, a representative for Grand Stores.

Grand Stores will be touting SanDisk’s USB Cruzer line, which offer capacities of up to 4Gbytes. Also on display will be the SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash 8Gbyte memory cards, featuring Enhanced Super Parallel (ESP) technology, which the firm claims offers a minimum 20Mbyte read and write speed.

The firm will be showing off the SanDisk Ultra II Mobile microSD. This offers 1Gbyte of storage and facilitates quick capture, view, upload and transfer of large image files. Grand Stores reckons the SanDisk Ultra is ideal for photo shoots under severe weather conditions.

“The Middle East market is now exposed to the latest technology advances without any significant time lag from the rest of the world,” concludes Sudhakaran.
