Greek outfit wins AD pipeline deal

Greek construction company Consolidated Contractors International has teamed up with the National Petroleum Construction Company to build a 90km pipeline in Abu Dhabi.

The pair will undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of Package Three of the Offshore Associated Gases Project for client, Gasco.

It is part of the company's plan to connect onshore and offshore gas networks in Abu Dhabi.

Work is set to complete by March 2009.

The contract involves construction of the pipeline from Bu Hasa to Habshan facilities and will include construction of a chemical injection plant.
