Gulf goes Swiss

Bahraini airline Gulf Air has appointed Swiss national Björn Näf as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), following in the footsteps of its new Swiss president and chief executive Andre Dose who is in the process of restructuring the loss-making carrier.

Bahraini airline Gulf Air has appointed Swiss national Björn Näf as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), following in the footsteps of its new Swiss president and chief executive Andre Dose who is in the process of restructuring the loss-making carrier. Näf will be in charge of ground and flight operations and services and maintenance. "Mr. Näf is an achiever who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the aviation business," said Gulf Air CEO Dose.
