Hackers prey again on government FNC website

Delta Hacking Security Team successfully hacks into the official UAE Federal National Council website

A successful hack attempt was made on the UAE’s Federal National Council website by members of a group known as the ‘Delta Hacking Security Team’, The National reported.

Visitors to the website were automatically redirected to another web page that displayed a jubilant message from the hackers - DeltaHackingSecurityTEAM Was Here ....! Dont 4 GET - crediting several members of the team and “all Iranian hackers”.

It’s believed the breach went unnoticed for several days before remedial action was taken.

This isn’t the first time the FNC website – www.almajles.gov.ae – became a target for ambitious hackers. In 2002, a group known as the ‘Bad Skaters’ breached security and posted several random phrases such as 'crazy girl' and 'red tiger' on the FNC homepage, disrupting operations for nearly two hours.
