UAE healthcare operator Medcare appoints new CEO

Medcare, the premium healthcare division of UAE-based Aster DM Healthcare, has announced the appointment of André Daoud as its new Dubai-based CEO.

Daoud will lead the company's strategic planning and will shape growth initiatives to enable "world-class healthcare delivery" in the UAE, a statement said.

Daoud joins Medcare from a chief business officer role for NEXtCARE, the third-party administrator and member of Allianz Partners. Daoud also held the role of chief marketing officer for the Middle East and Africa, where he was responsible for driving innovation and digitalization in client solutions and services.

I see great opportunities for further growth and development, in line with Medcare’s mission to deliver access to highest-quality healthcare in UAE,” said Daoud.

Medcare has four hospitals, four specialty centres and nine medical centres across Dubai and Sharjah, with a team of more than 300 doctors.
