Thumbay University Hospital is the largest private academic hospital in the region with 350-bed capacity
Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, visited Thumbay Medicity, Ajman, and the newly opened Thumbay University Hospital, the largest private academic hospital in the Middle East region.
Dr. Thumbay Moideen, founder president of Thumbay Group, Akbar Moideen Thumbay, vice president of the Healthcare Division of Thumbay Group, and other members of Thumbay Group’s administrative team were present during the visit.
Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi toured the hospital’s advanced facilities, including the Cath Lab, the Long-Term Care unit and the Therapeutic Garden.
Dr Thumbay Moideen said that Thumbay Medicity is expected to emerge as a thriving hub for medical students, healthcare professionals, researchers, patients and medical tourists.

The hospital has Marhaba Services – personalised fast track services for patients – as well as presidential suite rooms and VIP Rooms.
Thumbay Pharmacy, located within Thumbay University Hospital, is the biggest robotic pharmacy in the country with automated robotic technology to prepare and dispense medicines. The hospital is part of the academic hospital network of Thumbay Group, which has a professional workforce of 25 different nationalities serving patients in 50 different languages and serving patients from over 175 nationalities.
