Health ministry says affected person came to the kingdom from Iran via Bahrain

Saudi Arabia’s health ministry on Monday confirmed the kingdom’s first positive coronavirus case.
According to state-run Saudi News Agency, the citizen came from Iran via Bahrain and didn’t disclose his travel itinerary at border point.
The ministry said the individual is currently isolated at the hospital, and it also isolated individuals who interacted with the confirmed case pending test results.
Saudi Arabia said earlier that it has a total of 2,200 hospital beds allotted to potential quarantine cases.
Twenty-five hospitals have been prepared to deal with coronavirus cases as part of wider precautionary measures that have included closing its borders to foreign Umrah pilgrims.
Globally, there have been 89,861 cases, with 3,069 deaths and 45,636 recovered.
