Covid-19: Dubai brokerage firm to donate 5% of monthly PNL to frontline workers

GMG (Dubai), based in DIFC, and its UK entity GMG Brokers each will donate 5% of their monthly PNL to King's College Hospital Dubai Covid-19 department and the NHS, respectively.

A Dubai brokerage firm has announced plans to donate 5% of the company’s monthly PNL to medical staff working on the frontline in healthcare during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. .

GMG (Dubai), based in DIFC, and its UK entity GMG Brokers each will donate 5% of their monthly PNLs to King's College Hospital Dubai Covid-19 department and the NHS, respectively, to help provide extra funds to  purchase necessary equipment and ensure good resting conditions for staff.

“As we are all aware, we are facing a unique threat with the Covid-19 pandemic, not only for our health but for our economy,” said Marco Saviozzi, founder and CEO of DIFC brokerage firm GMG (Dubai) Limited.

“We have the chance and privilege to work in an industry which is until now, even with more daily hurdles, preserving and still running. In this very difficult time for a majority of people around us we need to act with solidarity and care, I believe it’s our duty.”

Saviozzi added, “We must give thanks to all our clients, as if we are able to provide this financial support to the NHS and nurses in Dubai, it’s thanks to them.”
