Coronavirus: Oman confirms further Covid-19-related death, 36 new confirmed cases

Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Saturday a further 36 new positive cases of coronavirus in the country.

A 60-year-old patient has become the latest person to die of Coronavirus in Oman, taking the death toll in the Sultanate to 12.

The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday a further 36 new positive cases of coronavirus in the country – 22 of whom are Omanis and 14 expats – taking the total number of confirmed cases in Oman to 2,483.

The ministry revealed that 750 cases have recovered.

A statement on Oman News Agency website said: “The ministry advises citizens and residents to keep on washing hands with water and soap, as well as avoiding touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, and following the healthy habits when coughing and sneezing.”
