Coronavirus: Oman reports 174 new cases, total in Sultanate stands at 3,573

Oman's Ministry of Health has announced that a total of 1,211 patients have recovered from Covid-19.

Oman reported 174 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of infections in the Sultanate up to 3,573.

According to the Ministry of Health, 36 of the new cases confirmed are Omanis and 138 are expatriates.

The death toll in the country remains at 17.

The Ministry also announced that a total of 1,211 patients have recovered from Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Manpower has urged private sector companies to ask employees to go for screening for Covid-19.

According to a report on Oman News Agency, it also called on businesses and employees not to hide any suspected cases of infection, with a vow to take legal action against anyone who violates the order.
