Covid-19: UAE announces 726 new cases, 2 deaths

Dr. Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, official spokesperson for the UAE Government,

UAE health authorities detected 726 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP).

To date, 33,896 cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the UAE.

Two more fatalities were also reported, bringing the UAE’s death toll to 262.

Additionally, 449 recoveries were also recorded. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, 17,546 people have recovered from the virus.

Globally, there have been more than 6.1 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, including over 371,000 deaths and 2.73 million recoveries.
