Coronavirus: UAE reports 661 new cases of Covid-19, 386 more recoveries

The UAE reported 661 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, while a further 386 people have recovered from the deadly Covid-19 virus.

The total number of cases across the country now stands at 34,557, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP). The new cases were identified as a result of 37,000 tests conducted over the past 24 hours.

It was revealed that the total number of recoveries in the UAE is 17,932.

MoHaP also announced on Sunday a further two deaths at the hands of Covid-19, taking the death toll in the country up to 264.

There are currently over six million cases of coronavirus across the world and more than 371,000 deaths.
