UAE reports 568 new Covid-19 cases, five deaths

Dr Al Shamsi urged people to follow the precautionary measures taken in response to Covid-19.

The UAE said 568 new cases of Covid -19 were detected in the country in the last 24 hours, following an additional 32,000 tests.

The new cases in the country bring the total number of infections in the UAE to 39,376.

Dr Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, the official spokesperson of the UAE Government, said five people died as a result of Covid -19, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 281.

The daily Covid -19 briefing was told that said 469 individuals have fully recovered from Covid -19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 22,275, adding that a total of 16,820 individuals are still being treated.

Dr Al Shamsi urged people to follow the precautionary measures taken in response to Covid-19.
