Coronavirus: Kuwait reports 520 new cases of Covid-19, six more deaths

Health authorities conducted 2,985 swabs in the past 24 hours, raising whole count of tests to 330,129.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health announced 520 new coronavirus cases on Friday, raising the total number of infections across the country to 34,952.

Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad also revealed that six more people had died of the Covid-19 virus, bringing the total number of fatalities up to 285.

Dr Al-Sanad added that there are currently 172 patients receiving treatment in intensive care wards.

Meanwhile, health authorities conducted 2,985 swabs in the past 24 hours, raising whole count of tests to 330,129.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 911 people from the coronavirus, taking the tally to 25,048.
