Coronavirus: UAE health ministry announces 513 new cases, one death

The ministry said 712 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 25,946.


The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 513 new coronavirus cases after a further intensification of its testing campaign.

The new cases brings the total of Covid-19 cases in the UAE to 41,499.

The health ministry also announced that one person had died a result of Covid-19. The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UAE has reached 287.

The ministry said 712 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 25,946.

Over 44,000 Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing methods, including stem cell treatment.

Dr Fatima Al Kaabi, senior specialist in research related with the stem cell project, revealed this week that patients who received the stem cell therapy treatment improved faster than those who were given conventional treatment only.
