71,000 tests carried out in the last 24 hours - the largest ever in a single day

UAE reports 716 new Covid-19 cases, three deaths

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 716 new Covid-19 cases and three additional deaths in its daily update.

The ministry said the new cases bring the total number of detected Covid cases in the UAE to 50,857, while the total number of deaths in the country has reached 321.

The new cases were reported following 71,000 additional Covid-19 tests carried out in the country, the largest ever in a single day.

An additional 704 patients have fully recovered from Covid-19, the ministry said, bringing the total number of recoveries to 39,857.
