The luxury French brand has opened its first watch and jewellery boutique in the UK
French luxury good company Hermès has opened its first stand alone fine watch and jewellery boutique in the United Kingdom at the Qatar-owned Harrods department store in London.
The new boutique, opened in the Fine Jewellery room on the ground floor of the iconic Knightsbridge store, will showcase the brand’s most precious pieces from its artisanal watch and jewellery ranges.
The first Hermès wristwatch was created in 1912 for Jacqueline Hermès, at the request of her father Emile Hermès, the grandson of the founder Thierry Hermès.
In 2010 Hermès launched its first collection of Haute Bijouterie, designed by Pierre Hardy and inspired by the equestrian world.
