Hilton International has been selected for the Middle East Learning & Technology award, in the category of Most Creative Implementation of an e-learning Strategy, by GlobalEnglish Corporation.

The awards program was sponsored by Xpert Learning, a consultant on integrated e-learning solutions, in collaboration with the organisers of the Middle East Learning & Technology Conference, recently held in Dubai.

“The success that Hilton International has achieved in improving the English communication skills of its front-line employees stands as an example for all global learning programs,” said Guy Epsom, regional sales and marketing director, Hilton International, Arabian Peninsula.

“The data on productivity improvements is impressive, but more importantly, Hilton International has been successful in developing a learning program that is aligned to a key business objective and fulfilment of its bran promise to deliver excellent customer service,” he added.

“The Middle East is an extremely important region for Hilton International because of its rapid annual growth in business and leisure travel,” said David LeMan, regional director of human resources, Hilton International, Arabian Peninsula. “As such, we have made strategic investments, including the online English language training program in our Middle East Workforce to ensure that every guest has a uniformly superlative experience.”
