Passengers told they could not leave while vessel was repaired if they wanted to continue journey.
Hundreds of Saudi-bound travellers were stranded on a ferry for three days after the vessel had to return to port with mechanical problems, Saudi daily Arab News reported on Thursday.
The ferry between Safaga in Egypt and Dhuba in Saudi Arabia returned to Safaga and those onboard were told they could not leave the vessel if they wanted to continue with the journey once it had been fixed.
The ship arrived in Dhuba on Tuesday.
