Hy-Tech gets Dubai logistics operator licence

Hy-Tech Logistics has added a logistics operator licence to its existing trading licence in Dubai.

Hy-Tech Logistics has added a logistics operator licence to its existing trading licence in Dubai, allowing the Ireland-based company to increase its service offering in the emirate.

"The awarding of our logistics operators licence allows us to offer our full suite of services to our customers in the Middle East," said John Halpin, general manager of Hy-Tech Logistics.

"We are now rolling out services in design and build of warehouses and logistics facilities, offering managed service centres, freight forwarding, logistics operations and distribution, alongside our recruitment consultancy and education services," he added.

Hy-Tech Logistics, which is planning to open a regional office in Dubai Logistics City, marked its entry into the Middle East last year by signing a contract to provide education and training programmes to DHL employees in the region.

"Dubai has positioned itself as the global gateway for logistics providers and freight forwarders, utilising the best facilities, systems and infrastructure available. Hy-Tech Logistics is ideally placed to provide the services required by the industry to support and sustain that growth," said Halpin.
