IBM conference to address ICT challenges

The 2008 IBM CIO Conference will take place at the Atlantis Palm Jumeirah on October 19

Leaders from international and regional organizations are all set to take part in IBM’s latest CIO conference that will address ICT challenges in the Middle East.

The IBM CIO Conference will take place at the Atlantis Palm Jumeirah on October 19, 2008.

Speakers at the event include Connie Moore, vice president and research director at Forrester Research, Rolf Olmesdah, a member of United Bank of Switzerland’s group managing board and senior executives from IBM. More than 1,000 CEOs and CIOs are expected to attend the conference.

The IBM CEO global study - The Enterprise of the Future - will also be discussed during the conference. The comprehensive study involved interviews with 1,130 CEOs across 40 nations in 32 industries, and provides insights on the challenges that’s expected to impact the future of business.

“The IBM Middle East CIO Conference case studies and sessions represent some really advanced, pioneering work by some of the region’s leading corporate and government entities. The mixture of previous unique technology deployments and forward vision will inspire and challenge our conference audience and drive strong debate during the sessions,” added Takreem El Tohamy, general manager at IBM MENA
