Imdaad opens power division

Imdaad has opened a new division, set up to address temporary power requirements for projects and industries in the Middle East.

Imdaad has opened a new division, set up to address temporary power requirements for projects and industries in the Middle East.

Chief executive officer of Imdaad, Jamal Abdullah Lootah, explained: "The new division has been set up in response to the increasing demand for power at construction sites in the wake of the booming developments. New urban communities and offshore developments are coming up rapidly and many of these sites have no access to power supply or infrastructure."

Lootah added that the primary service offered by the new division will be the rental of equipment required for temporary power generation. The company will provide a range of generators, including small diesel units and bigger containerised power units starting with 30Kva to 1250Kva. The new division will also offer services related to water based chillers and air conditioning.
