Non-oil trade between the UAE and India reached $20.4bn in the first half of
the year, up 57 percent from the same period of 2009.

The UAE’s non-oil exports to India grew 75 percent to $4bn in
the first half, newswire Bloomberg reported, citing a statement issued by the the
UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade.

According to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs figures, India was the
UAE's top trading partner in 2009, with non-oil trade totalling $32.11bn
(AED117.9bn).
