The investment arm of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) said on Saturday it has launched a subsidiary to provide a global network of business centres and corporate services.
DIFC Investments said DIFC Global is in the process of establishing business centres across the world to complement its facilities in DIFC.
DIFC Global already has a presence in London and is looking to set up centres in several other global financial hubs, it said.
DIFC governor Omar bin Sulaiman said in a statement DIFC Global will provide “supportive infrastructure and services for companies to grow their financial business across the world”.
Amna Al Sayed, former executive director of DIFC’s Business Centre, has been named CEO of DIFC Global.
