A member of the Thai royal family is set to invest in Dubai next year, with plans to launch luxury hotels in 2023.

British-Thai businessman Tim Connor (Jayankura Na Ayudhya), who is currently running businesses in the entertainment sector, has announced that Dubai will be his next investment destination.

“The UAE has always been on my radar – it is one of the safest places to live and invest in” said Connor, a serial entrepreneur who hailed the UAE’s “solid economy and favourable business environment”.

Connor, who started his first business at the age of nine, building and fixing computers, today has investments spanning nine countries across the entertainment, hospitality, health and wellness, F&B, real estate and beauty sectors.

Now, he and his business partner and TV personality Maggie Wilson are set to launch an interior design studio and a concept beauty lab aimed neutrally across genders in Dubai in 2022.

They said they have further plans for luxury hotels in 2023.

“Passion has always been the driver for me. I am extremely grateful to be able to work alongside UAE partners who are on the same wavelength, and I am very excited to be launching three new concepts in the Middle East. There’s so much more to look forward to as I continue to look for new fresh ideas from young entrepreneurs to work with and invest in,” he added.
