Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai World has called on chief executives in the region to “think big and aim higher” in order to achieve greater growth, at the multinational’s two-day Global Management Forum.
Delivering his keynote address to 250 CEOs and high-level management executives representing Dubai World’s business units from around the world, Bin Sulayem said Dubai was continuing in its determined pursuit of developmental goals despite widespread scepticism.
“We’ve faced many challenges and hurdles in the past but always managed to overcome them through sheer grit and determination. Dubai’s momentous growth is a testament to our commitment to make a stronghold in the region. In Dubai we lead by example and when we believe in an idea, we go ahead and implement it.
We’re where we are today because we believed in an idea and gave shape to it,” he said.
