Al Naboodah wins deal to build Dubai Creek Harbour district

Construction firm says it has been awarded contract for Creekside 18

Al Naboodah wins deal to build Dubai Creek Harbour district

Al Naboodah Construction Group (ANCG) has been awarded the contract for Creekside 18, a waterfront residential project in the 6 sq km Dubai Creek Harbour mega-development by Emaar Properties in a joint venture with Dubai Holding.

Emaar awarded the contract following the successful completion of two other projects in Dubai Creek Harbour – the Dubai Creek Harbour Sales Centre and the Promenade in the final quarter of 2016, a statement said.

It added that the contract comprises the construction of two 37-storey residential towers, each with residential units, technical floors, penthouses and commercial units, plus external works and landscaping.

Overall works, which commenced earlier this year, have been on-track with substructure and in situ concrete superstructure progressing, the statement said.

A recent milestone was the pouring of close to 6,500 cubic metres of raft slab concrete – a multi-day, continuous operation involving 50 transit mixers, 4 concrete pumps and 800 round trips to ANCG’s production facility in Al Awir.
