Saudi Arabia’s Housing Ministry awarded contracts to build 10,000 housing in Jeddah for beneficiaries of Saudi Arabia’s Sakani (My Home) programme.

The Housing Ministry signed two agreements with real estate development companies to authorise construction.

A total of 46 projects have been launched thus far, consisting of 66,621 villas, apartments and townhouses. Prices range from SR250,000 ($66,664) to SR750,000 ($200,000).

According to the Housing Ministry, the homes will have integrated services and public facilities, and will be handed over within three years.

The Sakani (My Home) programme aims to deliver than 300,000 residential united across the Kingdom in 2018. The beneficiaries list is announced on the 15th of each month.
